Scott Flory – OL – Montreal Alouettes
For the second-straight season Montreal Alouettes Scott Flory has been named the CFL’s top offensive lineman. Flory anchored an offensive line that allowed the third fewest quarterback sacks (35) in the CFL. Montreal’s offence finished first in total yards per game (390.3), first in passing yards per game (288.4) and second in rushing yards per game (119.9). Flory was named a CFL All-Star for the 7th time in his career. This is his second Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman award (2008).
This year’s award winners were selected by 55 voting members, including representation from the Football Reporters of Canada (FRC) from the eight CFL markets, a national chapter and CFL head coaches.
Flory received 37 first place votes.
